No Hydroquinone
Hydroquinone can cause ochronosis — a blue-black darkening of the skin — when used over time on melanin-rich complexions. We use safe botanical brightening agents like tranexamic acid and kojic acid instead.
No Steroids
Topical steroids are frequently slipped into unverified brightening creams to create quick false results, leading to severe skin thinning, visible veins, and steroid addiction. Tán is strictly steroid-free.
No Mercury or Bleach
Mercury and harsh bleaching chemicals poison the internal body and destroy the delicate skin moisture barrier. Every Tán formula is clinically tested, non-toxic, and barrier-supportive.
